La Bella Vita’s Curriculum
At La Bella Vita Montessori, we believe preschool education is transformative. Montessori education, pioneered by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1907, has helped children thrive for over a century. Our school continues this tradition, offering an authentic Montessori experience that fosters deep learning and personal growth.
Our curriculum is grounded in Dr. Montessori’s philosophy that children have an innate desire to learn. By recognizing and nurturing “sensitive periods” of development, our teachers guide children on a path to genuine understanding. Hands-on learning materials engage all the senses, encouraging children to explore concepts physically before grasping them abstractly.
Education at La Bella Vita Montessori extends beyond academics. Our classrooms promote communication and social skills, with mixed-age groupings allowing younger children to learn from older peers and vice versa. Language and math are taught through concrete, manipulative materials, ensuring a solid grasp of fundamental concepts.
The classroom environment is designed to be both beautiful and functional, inspiring exploration and understanding. Teachers model positive social behavior, participating in daily routines to provide children with opportunities to observe and practice these skills.
The Montessori Method is child-centered, allowing students to progress at their own pace in a collaborative setting. Our teachers act as guides, creating a supportive environment tailored to each child's needs.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter further education seamlessly.
At La Bella Vita Montessori, we aim to make learning a pleasure, helping children become confident, curious, and capable learners. Join our community and watch your child thrive.

Early Childhood Program
3 years - 6 years
Our Early Childhood Program, designed for children aged 3 to 6 years, harnesses the advantages of a mixed-age classroom to promote respect, leadership and accelerated learning through peer interaction and personal exploration.
Through our comprehensive and nurturing environment, we are able to foster independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning for each student.
Mixed-Age Learning Environment:
Our program fosters a collaborative culture where younger children learn by observing and imitating older peers, while older children build confidence and social skills through leadership opportunities. This respectful classroom environment encourages children to assist and learn from each other, enhancing their overall growth.
Nurturing and Stimulating Environment:
Our child-centered design features a thoughtfully prepared, child-sized space that promotes independence, confidence, and natural learning experiences. The curriculum is organized into key areas—language arts, mathematics, practical life, sensory awareness, and cultural studies—ensuring a well-rounded education that supports all aspects of a child's development.
Integrated Learning and Skill Development:
Our program emphasizes purposeful tasks and real-world activities to build independence, concentration, and problem-solving skills, while also focusing on motor skill development by strengthening hand muscles for writing and other tasks. Sensory and hands-on learning is integral, using materials that enhance observational skills and prepare children for mathematical concepts. Activities like sensorial exploration and concrete math tools, such as golden beads and the "stamp game," help transition from tangible experiences to abstract concepts seamlessly.
Language and Communication Development:
Our individualized approach respects each child's unique language development timeline, emphasizing phonemic awareness, vocabulary enrichment, and creative writing. We build foundational reading and writing skills using tools like the "Moveable Alphabet."
Exploring the World:
Our program introduces children to geography, culture, history, and science through hands-on exploration and interactive activities. It fosters scientific thinking and a deep appreciation for the world by encouraging curiosity and observation through experimentation and discovery.

Our program stimulates creativity and self-expression through engaging art, music, and physical education activities. Additionally, outdoor play offers ample opportunities for imaginative play and social interaction in a natural setting.
